Job Opportunity – Orphan Program Coordinator

Orphan Program Coordinator
Overall Purpose: The Orphan Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the operations of the orphans and their sponsors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain contact with sponsors and monitor their preferences.
Build and maintain positive relationships with the orphans and their sponsors.
Keep management aware of the sponsors concerns.
Maintain files of material about the orphan program, scan pictures, and assemble information for pamphlets.
Set goals and handle special events and activities in order to provide better services for the orphans and their sponsors.
Respond to the orphan program information requests.
Maintain, examine, verify, and ensure that orphans and sponsors data and records are accurate and protected.
Organize and maintain orphans and sponsor files.
Provide information about the program via the telephone, postal mail, and e-mail.
Record, edit, store, and revise letters, memos, reports, tables, forms, and other program printed materials.
Edit current information, or proofread new entries to a database for accuracy, such as sponsors’ personal information.
Assess the need for advertising to promote the program.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
May arrange and conduct programs to keep up contact between the sponsors and the orphans.
Conduct orphan & sponsor research to improve the program.
Prepare materials for printing or publication.
Monitor trends that indicate the need for new services.
* A minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in the non-profit field
* Must be fluent in both English and Arabic.
* Should be an effective team leader with excellent inter-personal skills.
* Multi task and possesses excellent organizational skills.
* Creative and have good analytical skills.
* A university or college degree.
* Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Have experience dealing with customers/donors
