[ILGP NEWS] Cynthia McKinney in Illinois on Tuesday and Wednesday
Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney will be in
Illinois on Tuesday and Wednesday, visiting Chicago, Naperville,
Springfield, and Alton.  Come out and see!
Cynthia’s Itinerary:
Tuesday October 28
7:00 pm – Reception at Black Independent Political Convention, Ms. Sis
Place, 1401 E. 75th St., Chicago.
7:00 – 10:00 pm – Green Party candidates’ reception and forum, YWCA,
360 N. Michigan Ave. (at Wacker), Chicago.  Cynthia McKinney to speak
at about 8:15.  $15 admission includes refreshments.  Other
Chicago-area Green Party candidates, including Senate candidate Kathy
Cummings and Congressional candidates Omar Lopez (4th), Jerry Pohlen
(3rd).
Wednesday, October 29
8:00 – 9:30 am – Breakfast meet and greet, at Egg Harbor restaurant,
175 W. Jackson, in Naperville, with Senate candidate Kathy Cummings,
Congressional candidate Steve Alesch (13th), State Representative
candidates Kevin O’Connor (41st) and Dan Kairis (55th), and other
DuPage and Kane County Green candidates, members, and supporters.
1:30 pm (approx.) – Springfield – Press conference at the State
Capitol "Blue Room" (time not yet confirmed).
4:00 – 6:30 pm – Green Party candidate Meet-and-Greet/forum, Holiday
Inn, 3800 Homer Adams Pkwy, Alton, with Rodger Jennings (12th
Congress), Troy Dennis (19th Congress), Greens from Metro East area.
